Abshot 1 Lost to Winchester 2.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. The stats turned out to be correct, with a fine Away win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 21 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Phil Ashman, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 4 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 104 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Jon Day.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 1 string, Celine Walser, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 1 string, Celine Walser, who over-turned a 1102 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
Winchester nos 1&2 played out of order - no change to scorecard in view of results.
